Lighting options

Warm, neutral or cool, front-lit or backlit. How to choose the light for your bathroom.

Colour temperatures

The front-lit mirrors offer three colour temperatures from the touch sensor. The backlit mirrors ship with a fixed neutral output that suits most bathrooms.

3000K

Warm. Evenings, soft skin tones, matches warm bathroom lighting

4000K

Neutral. The everyday setting, closest to daylight indoors

6000K

Cool. Daylight-accurate for makeup and shaving

Dimmable

Long press on the sensor, on the models that dim

Front-lit or backlit

Choose front-lit when the mirror is the main light at the basin, because it lights the face evenly without shadows. Choose backlit when you already have downlights or sconces and want a softer glow that sets the mood.

Power and dimming

Every mirror runs on its own LED driver from a standard power point, or hardwired by an electrician, so no wall dimmer is needed and none should be fitted. Dimming, where available, is on the touch sensor.

Lifespan

The LED strips are rated for around 50,000 hours, which is decades of normal bathroom use, and are covered by the two-year warranty.
